- (en) INTRODUCTION : Stiff person syndrome (SPS) is a disabling and rare autoimmune neurological disorder characterized by progressive rigidity and paroxysmal painful spasms involving the truncal and proximal limb muscles. This syndrome can be associated with other autoimmune endocrinopathies such as diabetes mellitus or thyroiditis. Here, we report a rare case of a patient presenting with SPS and type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) that appeared a few years after Graves’disease (GD).
