Abstract
The Sixth Franco-Belgian Meeting of Statistician took place at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, November 14-15, 1985. About 50 participants - mostly from France and Belgium, of course, but also from Norway, Great Britain, Italy and Spain, attended this event, whose theme was the statistical analysis of spatial processes and spatial time series. The importance and timeliness of this subject are attested by the content of the present volume, which includes contributions belonging to a wide variety of fields of application (ranging from biology and medecine to telecommunications, geography, ...) as well as several more theoretical (probabilistic or theoretical - statistical) papers.
