Abstract
The structure-dependent part of the decay pi /sup +/ rarr e /sup +/ nu /sub e/ gamma is considered in a relativistic quark model, and predictions depending on the quark mass are made for the ratio of axial-vector to vector form factors. For heavy quarks the ratio is unity or less, the static approximation gives zero, and if the pion is treated as an NN macr pair the prediction is 0.4, closer to the data.
