(en) A 63-year-old woman with a history of congenital rubella responsible for blindness was admitted in the emergency room of a local hospital for abdominal pain and constipation evolving for weeks. She subsequently developed non-sustained ventricular tachycardia, induced by severe hypokalaemia (2.4 mmol/L) and hypocalcaemia related to massive laxative intake.
