Abstract
This chapter analyses the convergence and divergence of the BRICS in terms of building economic corridors and global economic governance. It will show how their social structure, technological development and long-term role in the international division of labour constrain their ability to build effective economic corridors and form coalitions to change the status quo in global economic governance. It will highlight how, among the BRICS, China is the most important game changer in building economic corridors that challenge Western dominance of global economic governance.
