- (en) The Christ-Siemens-Touraine syndrom is a rare ectodermal dysplasia that is spread on the recessive method related to X chromosome. Its diagnostic is particularly based on the triad: hypotrichosis, hypohidrosis and hypodontia. The repercussions on the child social life are numerous and different, the child has many problems as far as his social insertion is concerned, he is a real handicapped who is rejected and stigmatised. In the african rural societies, the affection is associated to the evil practices. As a result, the taken care of oral, by an occluso-denture rehabilitation, is a must. Such a treatment is to be done precociously under regular controls in order to ensure maxillofacial alveolar development follow up care, to give the patient the chance to eat properly, to teach him to improve his locution and, finally create better condition for both harmonious growth physically such as psychologically. In this study, authors assess the period of eight years of being in charge of dental health for a young patient suffering from Touraine Siemens Christ syndrome. They focus on practical and psychological knowledge of this treatment which requires cooperation and availability from the patient and his parents
