Abstract
The fundamental goal of this study is to show in which way the philosophy of Merleau-Ponty contributes to a reflection on the genesis of the phenomenological perception of meaning. Contrasted with a hermeneutical approach of perceived meaning, one of the common breakthroughs of the philosophy of Husserl is the awareness that meaning can present itself as such to the perception without the mediation of judgement or interpretation. This work explores the different modalities of the more or less probable incarnation of meaning in the sensible.
