Abstract
The paper analyses the main belgian legal issues in public funding of religions and non confessionnal organizations. On the one hand,a social and political agreement is (pragmatically)confirmed in favor of the constitutional principles of this funding due the "spiritual and philosophical" assitance needed by a concrete and efficient protection of religion/belief freedom. On the other hand, controversies are growing about the equity of concrete allotments in force until now and the need of more democratic and transparent new criteria of distribution.
