- Abstract
- These last two years were prolific in the field of the bilio-pancreatic echo-endoscopy since approximately 200 articles were published. Five topics were more particularly approached: 1) the development of unspecified biliary strictures; 2) the diagnosis and the staging of pancreatic tumours; 3) the improvement and the development of new techniques of biopsies, 4) the impact of echo-endoscopy on the realization of other examinations (ERCP, MRCP...) in the work-up of bilio-pancreatic pathologies. Lastly, therapeutic developments of techniques have been analyzed in some publications.
