- Abstract
- Recreation as an experimental method for studying works of art was initiated by us. In a computer assisted experiment we made student colour a Piet Mondrian painting. Pictures perceived in different experimental variants were examined with multidimensional and information theoretical methods according to the similarity and preference. Among others we got different entropy values of the arrangements and different colouring strategies for the Japanese and the Hungarian subjects in the case of the different experimental variants.
