Abstract
The lifetimes of the first 5/2/sup -/ and 9/2/sup -/ levels in /sup 107,109/Ag have been measured by the recoil-distance technique following Coulomb excitation with /sup 40/Ar ions. The results, combined with previous data on /sup 106,108/Pd, are interpreted as experimental evidence for a finite number of bosons in these nuclei at low spin.
