To the Editor, Available data suggest that 15% and 5% of patients with COVID-19 develop severe and critical illness, respectively [1]. Early recognition of patients who will develop critical COVID-19 illness is of great importance because it will led to more aggressive and adapted management which may improve patient’s outcome.
