- (English) The international dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Assyrian Church of the East started in 1995. However, the Joint Committee for Dialogue has not met for its usual annual meeting since 2004. The Committee had previously prepared just one common statement - on sacramental life - but it has not yet been signed and approved by the competent authorities of both churches. It is thus the only document of the Committee that we can examine in this article. We also consider two other documents in connection with the bilateral dialogue. They are the "Joint Christological Statement", signed by Pope John-Paul II and Catholicos Mar Dinkha IV in 1994, and the "Guidelines for Admission to the Eucharist between the Chaldean Church and the Assyrian Church of the East", issued by the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity on 20 July 2001. This study aims at elucidating the main ecclesiological aspects of these three documents. (Français) Le dialogue théologique international entre l'Eglise catholique et l'Eglise assyrienne de l'Orient a été lancé en 1995, mais la Commission mixte de ce dialogue n'a plus tenu sa réunion annuelle depuis 2004. Cette commission avait préparé une seule déclaration commune (en l'occurrence sur la vie sacramentelle), mais qui, jusqu'à présent, n'a pas encore été approuvée et signée par les autorités compétentes des deux Eglises. C'est donc un seul document de la Commission mixte en tant que telle qui peut être examiné dans cet article. On y ajoute deux documents en lien avec ce dialogue bilatéral: la "Déclaration christologique commune" signée par le pape Jean-Paul II et le catholicos Mar Dinkha IV en 1994, ainsi que les "Orientations pour l'admission à l'Eucharistie entre l'Eglise chaldéenne et l'Eglise assyrienne" du Conseil Pontifical pour l'unité des chrétiens, datées du 20 juillet 2001. L'étude de ces trois textes vise à en dégager les principaux aspects ecclésiologiques.
