Abstract
The library of the Institut Français d’Études Byzantines, actually in Paris, features inter alia five Greek manuscripts of Byzantine chant, which were acquired when the institute was located in Istanbul (1895-1937). The musical manuscripts (IFEB 9, 17, 21, 47, and 50), dating from the 18th-19th centuries, have been described only briefly recently. The present article offers a detailed description of the content of these manuscripts.
