(en) In the greek Book of Esther (LXX), Mordecai’s prayer (Suppl. C,1-10) demonstrates a particularly careful construction. After a very short narrative introduction, the prayer itself progresses in three moments. The study of their rhetoric composition allows to highlight the particular scope of each moment, that is clearly built around a specific theme. The sequence of these three parts forms a logical sequence which constitutes a subtle reasoning.
