Abstract
Non-expulsion and beyond... Resources and limits of the bond in an institutional therapeutic model. The choice of non-expulsion of teenagers placed in an institution requires a model of institutional therapy which we try to specify. This non-expulsion aims at correcting a history made of splits and multiple placements but it can also become a rigid myth if it is done at all costs, without taking the limits of placement into account. The multidisciplinary Tamaris team gets involved in everyday life relationships, resting on the anthropological main lines of lived time and space, on work with the families, on differentiating the authority functions, the third commanding party and the different collaborations in the network. Specific tools such as team meetings or palaver are made use of.
