Abstract
Radioactive beam development is achieved in a two step approach using two cyclotrons. The radioactive atoms are produced in the first step by a low-energy and high-intensity cyclotron, while the final acceleration is attained in a second cyclotron. Target development and beam handling are the new features of this realisation.
