Abstract
The paper analyzes the final document of the Catholic Synod of 2024 (and more precisely the contribution of the preparatory group #8) and their consequences for the external relations of the Catholic Church, in relation to other confessions and religions, and to states. How an opening-up of the Catholic Church's internal ecclesial structures could change the involvement of religions in international multilateralism.
