Abstract
As soy foods contain high quantities of isoflavones, studies have been carried out to assess their effect on the endocrine system. It seems that the isoflavones present in these foods do not have any side effects on healthy adults and that their consumption can even be recommended. © 2013 Elsevier Masson SAS.
