This month, we highlight the work of a young Mössbauer spectroscopist, Weiyang Li, who was awarded a PhD degree in coordination chemistry and material science from Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) at the end of 2023. Dr Li recently presented an e-oral contribution titled ‘Spin state versatility in Fe(II)4L6 supramolecular cages with a pyridyl-hydrazone ligand scaffold modulated by solvents and counter anions’ at the ESR & Rising star e-symposium held on the occasion of the GFSM 2025 international conference organized at the end of April 2025 in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
