Abstract
This paper summarizes the main findings of behavioral finance. Behavioral finance is gaining ground today as it offers convincing explanations regarding the somewhat irrational behaviors of investors and fund managers. In particular, behavioral finance convincingly explains why asset markets exhibit unwarranted high volatility.
