- (en) Sartorius muscles of Rana temporaria are tetanically stimulated at 0°C for 1 sec. They are then shortened at constant velocity V. The stimulation continues after the shortening is done, and we measure the force redeveloped. It depends on the rate of shortening. We report a quantitative description of this phenomenon
