Abstract
Due to its forward acceptance, the LHCb detector covers a unique region of phase space at the LHC, both for Standard Model production measurements and in the search for signs of physics beyond the Standard Model. The most recent measurements of inclusive W and Z boson production performed by the LHCb collaboration, probing the parton distribution functions down to Bjorken-x values of 10−4, are presented, as well as a measurement of Z boson production in association with a b-quark jet and a search for exotic long-lived particles decaying to jet pairs.
