Sarcoidosis is known to be a multisystemic disease. Cutaneous signs that can present several clinical variants are reported in 20 to 35 % of cases. The ulcerative form of cutaneous sarcoidosis is rare and affects mainly young black women. Pathogenesis of ulceration is still discussed and diagnosis is difficult. Extracutaneous lesions, primarily pulmonary, ore frequently, associated with the ulcerative form of sarcoidosis, requiring a systemic workup. Systemic corticotherapy is the treatment of choice, sometimes used in combination with antimalarial drugs.
