Abstract
This article explores the question of whether synodality could be defined as an object of ecumenical learning, especially in the context of the Anglican-Roman Catholic International Commission (ARCIC). This article engages this question by (1) examining the idea of ecumenical learning in the context of ARCIC dialogue, (2) analyzing the theme of synodality in ARCIC documents, and finally (3) arguing for a sustained practice of sy- nodality as a deepening of a pneumatological ecclesiology within the Church. Where ecu- menical learning is established, it creates the possibility for other forms and themes of mu- tual learning.
