Abstract
My expose is based on a postdoctoral research I conducted on Child Labour in small-scale artisanal mining in various countries of Sub- Saharan Africa. The purpose of that research is to analyze the effects that the legislation that focus on children’s rights have on the domination and power relations that generally structure children’s self-perceptions, namely the ones involved in the seniority system.
