Abstract
This presentation examines teenagers’ performances in an online information search and multimedia creation activity as the expression of their media and information literacy. We investigate the influence of the feeling of empowerment on the appropriation of this activity, considered as a situation of experiential learning, and the extent to which this feeling of empowerment may yield self-regulation processes used by the students as part of their performances, which in turn may affect the development of their media and information literacy.
