- Abstract
- The role and the place of the laity in the Church has given rise to manifold studies. The author confines his reflection to one limited aspect of the problem: must the dispensation of theological knowledge remain the monopoly of clerics and religious, or can it be extended to lay people? In the latter case, what are, inside the Church, the obstacles to overcome? The article aims only to contribute to the debate, it does not claim to bring any definitive answer.
