Abstract
(en) Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients represent a vulnerable population for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Approximately 300 000 patients are currently treated by PD worldwide, which produces large amounts of care-related waste including peritoneal effluent. PD drained fluid has previously been identified as a potential source of contamination with hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis C virus (HCV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) [...].
