- (en) What are the deep motivations in Catholicism in what it can have as narrowly denominational and identity-centred? What are the ponderous tendencies which have progressively constituted the Catholic "system" or "typology" for ten centuries, and especially the last five? The recourse to history is indispensable in order to identify them (theocracy, anti-Protestant Tridentinism, Ultramontabnism, anti-modern integralism, emotional devotionalism), before outlining the theological, ecclesial, pastoral or spiritual reforms or conversions which are still required in order to announce the Gospel in a more credible fashion to the modern world.
