- (en) [Medical and psychological care in a crisis unit and psychiatric emergency] This paper examines the importance of psychological early care procedures used in a crisis and psychiatric emergencies. Our goal is to revive a debate on the emergency and crisis and this, from a view of a clinical psychologist. After a presentation of clinical psychological and psychiatry emergency, the principles of medical-psychological intervention with patients in crisis and the role of their family are presented: the hospitality, the urgent demand analysis, the collaboration, the negotiation and the post-crisis work. The crisis unit and psychiatric emergency is a place of emergence and resolution of the crisis process. The procedure of the psychological care crisis can be contained symptoms of psychological and psychiatric overflows. The aim is to defuse the likelihood of crystallization of psychiatric and acute psychological through the post-crisis work and collaboration between somatician, psychiatric or family
