- Abstract
- The communication addresses the stakes of access to water both as a global public good and as a commodity under the private realm. The recent World Water Forum raised many concerns about water supply, management and treatment systems. Though some necessary resolutions have been taken, there is still more to be done about world water resources than just give impressive and alarming figures or unclear or not compulsory engagements and endorsements. This paper is not about statistics, the approach adopted is different from the figures-display trend in international forums. This paper rather questions some legal and economic issues regarding the right to water.
