Abstract
(en) [Cataract disease in medical practice] Any opacity or transparency loss of the lens that causes diminished vision is termed “cataract” and characterized by increased light scattering and color fading. The treatment is primarily surgical. In general, a local anesthesia is in general sufficient and patients fully recover in the absence of coexisting eye disease.
