Abstract
This article brings together four contributions that challenges traditional understandings of the Catholic Church. The authors raise from a variety of theological perspectives questions to how the Church sees itself, whose voice makes it into the main narrative, whose bodies are included or excluded, but also how violence and dissent translate into the life of people.
