The fusion and evaporation-residue cross sections in the O-16,O-18 + Mo-92 interactions for laboratory beam energies between 50 and 65 MeV have been measured by the on-line gamma-ray and off-line X-ray methods. The fusion cross sections below the Coulomb barrier are well reproduced by a dynamical surface vibration model, the evaporation-residue cross sections, by statistical-model calculations carried out with the evaporation code CASCADE. The same code is used to predict the evaporation-residue cross sections in the O-14,O-15 + Mo-92 interactions which involve radioactive ion beams.
