This paper considers the problem of applying adaptive linearizing control schemes to non minimum phase bioprocess. Two potential solutions are proposed. A dynamic feedback controller is first presented which is indeed a continuous-time extension of Generalzed Minimum Variance control to nonlinear bioreactors. The second oontrol solution suggests an adaptive linearizing controller design based on a reduced-order dynamical model of the process. The performance of the controller is illustrated by simulation.
