Millimeter- and submillimeter-wave rotational transitions of FCN have been measured and assigned in the vibrational states (upsilon(1) upsilon(2)(1) upsilon(3)) = (0 0(0)), (0 1(1) 0), (0 2(0) 0), (0 2(2) 0), (1 0(0) 0), (0 3(1) 0), (0 3(3) 0), (1 1(1) 0), (0 4(0) 0), (0 4(2) 0), (0 4(4) 0), (1 2(0) 0), (1 2(2) 0), (2 0(0) 0), (0 5(1) 0), (0 5(3) 0), (0 5(5) 0), and(0 0(0) 1). The measurements extend to 483 GHz, covering transitions up to J = 23 <-- 22. The rotational constants B, D, and H have been determined including previously obtained data. Some H and L parameters have been fixed on the basis of a preliminary global analysis of FCN. (C) 1995 Academic Press, Inc.
