Abstract
In this experts' round table, my communication underlines the potentialities of social practice theories for designing and coalescing energy-saving policy instruments. To these aims, several avenues are illustrated with the example of energy retrofits in the residential sector: (i)integrating different disparate practices, (ii) changing one component at a time, (iii) (re-)shaping synergies between components, (iv) coalescing several (integrative) practices.
