- (en) Each year, a few hundred men from Turkey come to settle by their wife in Belgium after their marriage. They are called "sons-in-law" in the Turkish community. This clinical research allows a look at marital immigration of these men the rule of marriage and residence in Turkish society to patrilineal trend. It comes specifically enlighten the issue related to marriages and migration of men encountered clinical psychotherapeutic work. The reversal of alliances refers to the situs rule matrilocalisation and its destabilizing consequences to the psychological and social level for the man. The person clearing is an example. It represents the loss of autonomy and the history of the social actor built in its original context. He becomes dependent on his wife at the linguistic and financial level to live in its new context of life in Belgium. As a result, it is often in the suffering. The originality of this research is to have analyzed the experiences of these sons-in-law according to the matrilocalisation of residence often overshadowed by the effects of immigration.
