Abstract
Thierry Amougou underlines that confronted to a similar international conjuncture effect, Asian and European ODA remain diffrenet in many aspect but also share similarities which lead to convergencies as several authors as argued in the book. However stressing that ODA is too often appreciated of its role as geopolitical, political or economic instrument, Thierry Amougou also reminds us the importance to think about the very purpose of ODA, its tangible impacts in terms of development and its support to a truly sustainable development.
