Psychology of religion also studies nonreligion. In this editorial, we will first briefly review how the field evolved in approaching nonreligion as an area of investigation. Second, we will introduce agnosticism as the major type of nonreligion beyond atheism. Third, we will present the major questions that, as psychologists, we could investigate when studying agnosticism, and we will briefly review very recent relevant research. Finally, we will introduce the papers of the present special issue.
