Abstract
(en) [Particularities of microangiopathic complications of diabetes in the elderly] Retinopathy and nephropathy are frequent vascular complications in third age diabetic patients. Pathogenesis is multifactorial. Medical care – and therapeutic goals – should be individualized, without overprocessing in frail subjects but also without therapeutic laxity in « good health » individuals. The aim of this article is to propose a state of the art in the field as well as a rational therapeutic approach.
