Abstract
This paper explores some aspects of the relationship between medieval Flanders and Anglo- Norman England, which intensified, in particular, when William of Normandy’s army also counted Flemish knights at the conquest and occupation of England, as well as in the fight to contain the Anglo- Saxon rebellions.
