- Abstract
- History of the councils (that of Vatican in particular) is in full development. Reference tools, created with the help of information science, are being multiplied. Syntheses and specialized studies are being published. Their view points are sometimes purely historical and sometimes more thematic or dogmatic. Six works (four of which are devoted to Vatican II) are given a critical analysis here.
