- In a study of 5.8 10/sup 6/ J/ psi decays, the MARK-III experiment at SPEAR has observed a new narrow state, called xi , in the radiative decays to K/sup +/K/sup -/ and K/sub s//sup 0 /K/sub s//sup 0/, at a significance level of 4.5 and 3.6 SD, respectively. Mass, width and product branching ratio are presented for both modes.
