Abstract
Many companies have encountered pitfalls in their attempts to successfully implement enterprise resource planning (ERP) that have proven nearly insurmountable, due to lack of techniques and tools for the design and implementation of enterprise information systems (EIS) that are properly aligned with business models and strategic objectives. Global Implications of Modern Enterprise Information Systems: Technologies and Applications presents useful strategies, techniques, and tools for the successful design, development, and implementation of enterprise information systems (EIS).
