The recent development of Unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and of light-weight spectroscopy sensors provided a possible combination of means to quantitatively and accurately assess spatial-temporal variability of soil properties, at a superior spatial and temporal resolution, and time-, resource-, cost-efficiency
