Abstract
In this paper we follow Boltuck (1987) and find the average level of European antidumping protection against Central-Europe in the Period 1985-1990 was 14 to 20% too high. Our simulation results on the Central European antidumping complaints against Central-European imports an no antidumping measures would have been imposed. In view of these results we feel that european antidumping legislation and its implementation seriously undermine the credibility of the Association Agreements recently signed between the European Union and the countries of Central-Europe.
