Abstract
(en) The first part of the Quality of Work and Employment Barometer 2019 focuses on the structure of employment and its recent evolution. The second part deals with the quality of jobs, from the perspective of the diversification of non-standard jobs. Particular attention is paid to the atypical forms of employment that have developed in recent years: not only part-time and temporary employment, but also student work, flexi-jobs, work on secondment, economically dependent self-employment. The third part provides some elements of appreciation concerning employment in the digital economy. The fourth part proposes a focus on youth employment. It proposes indicators on the labour market, job quality and training. As in previous editions, the 2019 Barometer consists of two documents: a version intended for a wide audience, and this more detailed statistical report, which contains more comprehensive data and provides comments on data sources and their use.
