(en) Our focus will be on Father Gaston Fessard's understanding of the Man-Woman dialectic. We will seek to demonstrate how, in his eyes, the Man-Woman dialectic is an essential complement to the Master-Slave dialectic in any attempt to reach a less abstract perspective on human historicity, and hence usefully comple Marx's teachings. We will then ask whether this perspective on Man-Woman reantionships is not too historically connoted to constitute a universal key to understanding human relationships? Thirdly, we will try to see how this dialectic and the global conceptual net it fits into might be of use in comprehending today's sexuality and grnder upheavals
